Majestic Saturn

This is one of the first views of the shadow-side of Saturn, sent back from the Cassini mission. Up till then, no one had ever seen Saturn’s shadow and ring system from this perspective. I wanted to convey the sense of awe and mystery this image provokes in me. The limited palette and black sky heighten this effect.
