Ancient Visitation

Glowing colors of purple and blue and white mark the passage of a comet near a far off planet. The planet is far enough from its own sun that the only light reaching it is from the comet. The effect is one of mystery and wonder. And I wonder if a sentient being is observing the comet’s effulgent journey. What would their thoughts be?
